How do you became a Moderator and for on here, what does it mean and what can you do when your one???

I’m new and I made an account after they made changes to the website but what I think happened is that the admin did this new thing and made moderators so that he wouldn’t be so swamped because it was taking a long time to get patterns and pictures approved

Moderators basically have the same access to the website as admin I think or almost the same they approve patterns and photos, I’m not sure how you would become one but I think admin would have to reach out to you
