Out to my mom. No support WHATSOEVER. Out to some of my friends, they're totally chill with it. I wear rainbow and pan stuff all the time and my mother can't do anything about it haha. Look, I'm all for obeying your parents, but when they SAY they'll support you no matter what and they don't, it truly hurts.

@Yelena09 Parents say they'll love us unconditionally until you add gay, trans, or both into the equation. Then suddenly all of that love goes down the drain. I'm terribly sorry your mum doesn't support you love. Just know that regardless of what our blood tells us, thinks of us, or acts towards us the water is often sweeter. The water being us the people who will love, accept, and cherish you as you are. When the time comes for you to leave the nest remember the world doesn't have to be scary. Being gay doesn't have to be scary. It's quite a beautiful thing once you find the right people, time, and place to be unapologetically you. Don't let the haters get you down because at the end of the day it doesn't matter what they think of you. It matters what you think of you. Love yourself to the fullest really truly. Live how you want to live and don't worry about what others think of you. Because the people that really matter will stand by you no matter what. Best of luck love.

i'm out everywhere except from at work as I dont want my boss or my colleagues to see me differently ,,i think a lot of straight people or younger people especially assume that you just come out once and wow! yippee ! thats it! yknow but in reality everytime you meet someone new or go somewhere else the entire process seems to start over. I've given up "coming out" basically lol. If it comes up in conversation I'll mention it and I love making jokes about it but I don't need to " come out " anymore... idk does anyone else feel this way? |
