So I have a crush on this guy at school and he knows I have a crush on him and at this point I swear he wants nothing to do with me. I’ve tried asking him to do things like go to the movies with me and a bunch of friends and he always cancels soon before it. I want to hang out with him more, and I’ve known him for a while. Any conversation we have is awkward and I hate it. Any advice on how we can be better friends?

Sorry he's not being very receptive to you, maybe he's intimidated bc he knows about the crush you have? It's counterproductive, but you might need to give him some space, maybe not start any conversations with him for a while and distance yourself a little bit. Eventually he might be a little more chill and want to talk to you a bit more
