I would recommend writing a letter or email to the person you want to came out to explaining everything and tell them to read it when you’re at school or not around and you can ask to talk about it later or something

I don’t have any ideas but make sure it is safe to come out. not that coming out is something to regret, but if you live in, for example, and extremely Christian household, that might not be the best idea. but seeing as you said close people, you probably know they will support you❤️❤️❤️ best of luck

i agree w @spleevy . definitely come out if you think it’s safe. but i would like to say that saying extremely Christian is a little bit misrepresenting i do know christian who aren’t supportive of lgbtq but they’re not going to make you feel unsafe. i consider myself a strong christian, but i fully support lgbtqiap. id just like to say that bc it can be offensive to those who are christian but support, but definitely agree that you put your safety first. and id say if they’re homophobic @peanutsv then maybe starting w how you feel about lgbtq is a good place to start first so that they know ur stsnce and u can see how they react on that. good luck!!

@senor I totally get what you are saying, my family is Christian and I just refer to those Christian households who are homophobic as “extremely” Christian. I definitely didn’t mean it to be offensive
