like we all know the basic phobias like spiders and tight spaces but what are the weird, specific ones? I know I have a lot… I’ll start, I have a fear of taking a bath in a trash can.. so when I was younger I saw this YouTube video of this guy turning his like outside trash can into a pool and I have forever been scarred by that. im scared of fish, for no reason whatsoever i just think they're creepy and terrifying and i run away whenever i see one in a pond. also whenever i walk over one of those drain grate things im always terrified that i dropped something and it would fall through the gap and i do almost anything to avoid walking over one, or i spend ages checking that i didnt drop anything in it after i walk over one even if i wasnt carrying anything small enough to fall through the grate in the first place. that sounds really dumb but i always kinda panic whenever i walk over one of the drain grate cover things 😂

I reallllllyyyyyyyyy don't like holding peoples hands. Somthing about sweaty palms just makes me cringe. *For some reason I don't mind holding my parents hands but I hate holding kid hands. I have no reason why though.

Not exactly a phobia but I dislike wet surfaces a lot. To the point that I would refuse to even use the bathroom if the floor is wet or the seat is wet 😂 it feels really gross even if it's just water. Even rain is sometimes a problem. Just dampness in general.

I used to be afraid of fans oscillating until I was like 4 I thought they looked really creepy 😂 sth I hate now is accidentally touching the surface of my bathroom sink / leaning against the shower wall it just feels soop wrong

@aiden707 I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN!!!! although for me this really specific event when I was on like a speed boat and the little seat was wet from someone else sitting and I just couldn’t force myself to sit down like 😭😭😭😭😭

I hate sounds out of place. So like if I think of the sound with the room I'm in, it's fine. But if someone comes in a starts sniffing or making a weird noise it bothers me so much! Idk why. Is that a phobia? Oh, and crowds.

ok hear me out this is weird butI literally cannot deal with lenticular paintings. (the 3d placemats, cards, postcards, etc.) it started when my mother told me to wipe off our 3d christmas placemats when I was 8. I sat there for a half-hour while my mom was in the other room and tried so hard to clean them but I just couldn't deal with the scratching noise 😭 then a year later my dad tried to give me a 3d baseball card and I would not go near it he was confused 😂 to this day, still, nope cannot deal with them. The sound gives me goosebumps and its the absolute worst |

I have always been super afraid of getting my feet dirty. When i am wearing sandals and i walk in a super dry, dusty area, dirt gets all over my feet and when i rub my toes together it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. 😐 It is one of my absolute worst fears. I know, weird.....
