Friend problems... Any suggestions?

Recently, I did something immature (made my profile picture a weird pic of their face) and they are now extremely upset. They won't reply to any of my apologies on several different messaging platforms, and I have chosen to stop bothering them for now. I even wrote a paragraph apologizing for what I did. I am not sure if they have seen the paragraph yet, but what should I do? I feel really bad. I basically ruined a whole friendship with one stupid decision.

I suggest giving it a few days for the matter to settle. And then try and apologize again.

Leave them alone it was your mistake and they’ll forgive you if they want to but pressuring them won’t help
