I want to go back to virtual school, but I can’t, and my school district won’t go back to virtual school unless the state tells them to. But the state isn’t going to do that. Don’t get me wrong, I love being in person and getting to see my friends and do extracurriculars and stuff, but I’m very worried about getting sick. And I am fully vaccinated, but many ppl at my school aren’t. And ik you can still get covid even if you’re vaccinated. I just feel much safer at home and that’s not rlly an option. My anxiety hasn’t rlly gotten any better since being in person, and rn I feel like it’s not safe to be in person considering there is the delta variant going around to fully vaccinated ppl. It’s out of my control and ik I shouldn’t worry about it too much, but I rlly want to go back to virtual and idk what to do.

@nev_m_07 Yea i get that, there is also the option for Florida Virtual but that would just be a choice that you and your parents would have to make. I hope your anxiety gets better

@nev_m_07 yeah it's definitely a scary world to be living in right now. There is so much happening its kinda hard to keep track of it all. I think that your best bet would to just make sure that you are following Covid protocols and making sure that you are keeping yourself safe. I would also consider talking to your parents about your concerns and you know just telling them what you are feeling. And for your anxiety if you can't talk to your parents or if you don't have a therapist or someone that you can talk about everything you are feeling 2ith I would consider talking to a counselor and just letting them know what's going on in your head. And I'm always here to talk if you need to get something off of your chest. Hopefully this helped if not just say "you did nothing" and I'll try again 😂

I studied abroad in London and in my final year last year I made really good friends in one of my societies, and I started dating someone as well. Ofc lockdown ruined everything, my rship had to end (though on v good terms) and I couldn't get to stay in London so now I'm back home. So I really do miss him and all my friends. There was a reunion with everyone over the past weekend and I was just so sad I couldn't be there, I feel so forgotten sometimes. I feel like my life is kinda on pause while everyone else is moving on with theirs. And I was also super fine w my rship until I read sth on reddit abt breakups similar to mine where they eventually got back together when the time was right so that's put a ton of hope in my head that I really didn't want atm (im a super hopeless romantic) 😂

@Zaan_13 yeah I know how you feel. I'm an exchange student in the states and I had such great friends and then lockdown happened and threw everything off and when I came back this year everything was different and it felt like they kind of forgot about me so I know how that feels. I'm sorry to hear about your relationship but I know that if it was meant to be and if they were the one it'll work itself out. And if it wasn't then you will find someone even more meant for you and even more perfect. So don't stress about it just know that everything will work itself out in the end. I'd love to hear about how things go for you so pm me and let me know what happens. I'm invested now 😂. Aw I'm sorry to hear about your exchange year! It's been so unfair for y'all and I'm sorry about your friends too - sometimes we're only ever really close with people when we get to see them all the time so I hope you can regain that connection and/or meet some new friends that you'll have for time to come no matter where in the world y'all go. And I hope this year is more enjoyable with no interruptions ❤️I really wanna go back to London for work so I'm hoping everything can fall into place and we could reconnect even as friends, it would be a nice bonus to moving back. I feel honoured that you're invested hahah so I will keep you updated! This is all gonna be a year+ in the making though, but I'll defo remember you (we're trusting the process) 😉 and you did NOT do nothing!! I used to go to public school and there were 2 boys that I knew and they still live in my neighborhood and I was rollerblading and the bus came and one boy pointed me out to the other. And then they both walked away and avoided eye contact. 😢 And now I just feel like the weird homeschooled freak it has been like 5 years since I have talked to either of them but they recognized me. 😭

@Zaan_13 Thank you 😊 hopefully everything goes smoothly this year (I have a feeling it will). Everything that is meant to happen will happen with you and your partner. If you guys are better off as friends then that's okay, but if you guys are better off as more than friends then that's what's going to happen. And if neither of those things happen then you are going to find someone much more suited for you and they are going to be the one I know it. So whatever does end up happening let me know (I want to see how this all plays out. I'm a hopeless romantic too 😂) Of course! @Blueknot I'm sorry to hear about that. But what if they weren't saying something rude about you behind your back?🤔 What if they were saying something like "Wow look at that lovely girl over there rollerblading like that! Isn't she just wonderful?!" And even if they were saying something mean about you, what does it matter? Just because one or two people don't like you, doesn't mean that there aren't people who think that being homeschooled is super cool. So don't let the haters bring you down. (BTW being homeschooled is super cool. You get to graduate early and you don't have to socialize with people. That honestly sounds like heaven!) Hopefully this helped you.
