I know this isn’t horror or fantasy but Red, White and Royal blue. It’s LGBTQ+ and such a good read. It’s not got too much history in it but it does involve the British Royal family and the American first family (ik it’s not history but links ig) and it’s overall such a good read. I would say the age range may be 13+ but i think a 12 year old would be okay reading it

I love historical fiction. I don't know how advanced you are so I'll include a little of everything. 1. Words On Fire by Jennifer A. Nielsen 2. The hunger games series by Suzanne Collins, including the balled of songbirds and snakes 3. Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson 4. A long walk to water by Linda sue park (its not fantasy or historical fiction but reads like one and is very interesting) 5. Chains by laurie halse anderson 6. The Assignment by Liza Wiemer 7. Jefferson's sons by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley 8. Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling (I haven't read all of them but my sister loves them) 9. The book thief by Markus Zusak (I haven't read it yet but have heard great things and plan on starting it soon) 10. A good kinda trouble by Lisa Moore Ramée I hope you like some of these. 😊 |
