I have some questions about it. So, i am planning on embroiderying towels for my mom. I am nevous tho, becuase i don't know wether they can be washed in a washing machine. could anyone tell me that and give me extra tips? Thanks!

If your stitches are secured nothing will happen, but I usually hand scrub my embroidery just for safe measure.

You can also try making several knots on the end of the thread not too far apart, and using towels that don’t have tons of fiber so you can see the actual stitching. You could also use a hand towel, do some simple embroidery and stick it in the laundry to see if it will come out. I honestly doubt it because I have stuck my embroidery (accidentally) In places where it gets run through the washer and nothing really happens. I also notice that people embroidery clothing (jeans, shirt pockets, shorts, skirts etc) and it usually stays in if the person is careful when making each stitch. Overall it’s a fun idea and I’d love to see the finished product!

Maybe adding fabric glue to the back of the stitches can help with securing it.
