@Godluvsu @kaliciorn @Mer2010 @zoe22256 @GenMalucci @IguanaGreg @Vivi07 @pwasher09 @hellooooo @karrots12 @Love_Fox ok y'all because my last post got taken down we need a new topic to talk on So the rest of this week we can share our testimonies any favorite verses songs, books, movies, anything just get to know each other so we can be closer in friendship as well as faith! ill go first Favorite Verse I don't rlly have a favorite verse but from time to time one will rlly catch my eye. my problem is I can memorize a verse but not the reference 😂 current favorite verse- Matthew 5:10 it says "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven." its just a good reminder that even if the world is against u that just means that ur doing something right, because why would Satin target me if he didn't think I was a danger to him 😎 Book of the Bible - thats a hard one I have multiple Psalms, Isaiah, Romans, and a few more 😂 favorite currant movie- War Room 😍 * ur favorite movie doesnt have to be a christian movie War Room is just my favorite movie all around ❤️ and then I thought id share my testimony (Side Note) if u share ur testimony don't think it has to be so overly drippy and long and all that stuff ur testimony is the story of ur walk as a christian and getting save nothing more nothing less! don't feel bad if its not rlly long for y'all who were raised in a christian family I get it u were born into it raised in it and its pretty much all uv ever known 😂 😂 Anywho my testimony- I got saved during VBS when I was 6 years old, I can remember my dad crying and me being rlly worried about him 😂 he told me it was happy tears. a few months later I asked to get baptized. for the next 6 years of my life I was more of a lukewarm christian we moved once or twice and didn't rlly have a good church, I was a christian but I just idk its hard to explain that feeling. During quarantine I almost ended up walking away from God, not being able to go to church rlly took its toll on me. I started spending all my time on Pinterest and tablets and stuff. I was always daydreaming of having all this stuff and all these friends and all sorts of stuff that I was putting before God. After a while I started comparing myself to others feeling like I was to fat, ugly, just altogether not good enough, I got rlly depressed and started to wonder if I was rlly worth anything, this made me rlly lash out towards my siblings and stuff and multiple times my mom asked me what was wrong. Most of the time I just told her about certain parts and stuff. Than one day I discovered the Bible side of Pinterest all these pictures of beautiful bible journaling and stuff rlly got me interested in reading the Bible. Around that time we found a church who has an absolutely amazing pastor, the fire and passion for God that u can see in his eyes!! I asked my youth group to pray for me by telling them I needed prayer for a friend, ( I was embarrassed about all that) y'all I rlly feel like Satin was battling God for my heart throughout all of this. and he almost won at one point he even had me doubting my salvation. but God was working on me through out all of this. For my birthday mom got me a new journaling bible that I wanted and I started to read more. I also started praying, and listening to k-love a lot more (thank u God for k-love!!) I started to become less ashamed and started to share more openly. And guess what through all of this Satin still in the back corner over there trying to get me back again ( ur just seeking attention, no one care, ur ugly, ur fat , ew whats wrong with ur face is that... acne 😲 😂 😂 😂 😂) the fact that he even thought he had a chance 😂 😂 😂 finally I had had enough. I got down on my hands and knees in the middle of my room and prayed, I prayed that God would help me to stop comparing myself to others, to fight my battle for me because I knew that He had already won. Then I ordered Satin to get out of my life, like the Bible says resist the devil and he will flee! and he did and since then (about 2-3 weeks ago) I haven't looked back and I decided to start this bible study!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🔥 🔥 🔥 Wow Guys u have helped me so much 😊 luv y'all ❤️ ❤️ |

I wanted to say that, I love how Jesus died for us, we are imperfect humans and he died for us. He really loves us, today I’m going to find some of my favorite verses that show how much Jesus loves us

Alright, this one made me think about it for a second, because there are so many good verses and chapters in the Bible! But, my favorite is probably John 3:16-17 I sort of doubted my faith for a bit before I could really learn about Christ, and I asked for redirection in Christ. And I was praying in our kitchen because why not, and as I was praying I asked for a Bible verse, not sure why, but what I got from God was John 3:17 and so I was thinking a bit, and I was like “But, 17? I thought it was 16, John 3:16 the verse everybody seems to know.” But anyway, it was almost like I began to doubt again, so I got my Bible, and the verses are “For God so loved the world that he gave his only be-gotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” It’s a good reminder that God literally sent his ONLY Son, not to condemn us, but to SAVE us. God will never give up on anybody, and it struck me that he wasn’t done with me, he hadn’t given up, I had given up on him. Now reading the Bible and praying is a big part of my daily life, I want to grow closer to God, and show others his eternal love. However, part of getting saved by God for me, was going to camp, it sounds a bit odd, but the camp I go to is a religious camp, so, everybody there is so helpful when it comes to finding Christ in everything. My favorite movie… I really like the Fatima movie.

I think you should check out the website Verse of the day. Verseofthday.com it is great, first you read the verse, then there is a paragraph explaining the verse, and finally a prayer.
