If you're looking for murder mystery types, you could consider the following:True Crime: - In Cold Blood (Truman Capote) Murders set in historical/medieval times: - The Cadfael Chronicles (Ellis Peters) - The Matthew Bartholomew Chronicles (Susanna Gregory) - The Ashes of London (Andrew Taylor) Contemporary Murders: - Girl on the Train (Paula Hawkins) - I See You (Clare Mackintosh) Classic Crime/Murder Mysteries (more focused on crime solving; not the thriller variety) - Any book from the British Crime Library series - Naturally, any Agatha Christie book Cozy Mysteries: I'd recommend checking out the recommendations on https://cozy-mystery.com/. |
