I’m in need of some new books to read so let me know if you have any good ones!! This thread can also be used to ask about book recs or to suggest some.

I usually read young adult fantasy books, but some of my favorite books are children’s books. If you have anything similar to Rick Riordan’s books or the ones published under Rick Riordan Presents, that’d be fantastic too!!

Some of my favorite books/series are: Keeper of the Lost Cities, Percy Jackson, The Book Scavenger, the Renegades Trilogy, The Lunar Chronicles, and the Montague Siblings Books (a gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue and a lady’s guide to petticoats and piracy)

Omg! Another renegades fan!

For kids books I strongly suggest The Sisters Grimm series by Michael Buckley.
Basically, these two orphaned sisters find out that they are desecndants from the brothers grimm and the town that they are sent to live in is full of real life fairy tale creatures, while also solving mysteries with their newly discovered grandma.
100%reccomend ( theres even and enimies to lover arc in there) but, fair warning: for the tenth aniversary, the author actually rewrote the series so the writing is better. So be careful of which versions you read (the art on the cover will make it obvious)

Then theres a really good series by Leigh Berdugo thats called Shadow and Bone and an even better duology after called Six of Crows.
Both of the series have amazing representation and are beautiful written.
Its best to read the trilogy first to better understand the world and magic system, but to each their own.
It's this whole universe of books called the Gishaverse that recently got a show on Netflix! (also so good) I might just rewatch it for the third time right now 🤔 😄

Hope this helps! ❤️

I read romance novels mostly. But like... not traditional ones... like it’s opposite of sunshine and rainbows. I would also recommend touching spirit bear, the Emma griffin series (if you like murder mysteries), and for kids book the last kids on earth or horizon.

@Hippyhap75 I totally agree! I got the boxset of the Sisters Grimm and even though I am that type of peron who never reads books twice, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to give it away!

Have you read Magnus chase from Rick riordan? Also land of stories was a good series when I was young. Clementine… (not sure how old you are so that might be a little young) the selection is amazing!!!! But if you are younger than 13 I wouldn’t suggest it… matched was super good. Harry Potter 😊 enjoy

I loved the selection series by kiera class- it is kind of dystopian but mainly a romance, about a new coming prince choosing his wife/queen.
