I plan to open my own Etsy store soon but I’m having a hard time figuring out what patterns to make. This is mostly due to me not wanting to make a pattern from here and get in trouble for stealing someone else’s design, but embarrassingly enough I really don’t know how to make my own patterns yet 🙁 . I don’t know if anyone else has asked this, but I was just wondering if I had permission to use patterns from this site? Or am I supposed to ask the person who originally created the pattern

You can use the patterns on this site. However things like among us or Disney might have copyrights

I believe for copyright issues, you can put “Disney Inspired” or “Among us Inspired” but you’ll have to check
