how long are tour threads?

When u buy threads how long are they? I curently buy 8m long threads and it was Ok for mw but I made an alpha yesterday and I used all off 8 metres now I’m confused how y’all cope with this I mean where and how long you buy your threads? Thank u💘

Normally they tend to be 8 meters (8.75 yards) long. 🙂

You can also buy doubles if you need extra thread.

so usually the 6 strand embroidery threads are 8 meters, but dmc pearl cotton has individual ones for 25 meters. you can also get packs of specific colors on amazon or possibly craft stores. also, dmc petra sells huge rolls for 5 dollars each, and it’s great for basic colors like black, white, pastels for alpha backgrounds, etc. alize yarn is also an option, which sells on etsy (however shipping is a bit expensive depending on where you live because most shops i’ve seen ship from ukraine).
