I’m not very experienced on making normals patterns because reading them is very confusing to me, but I really want to try an alpha because those make more sense. Should I try more normals or try an alpha?

I’d say you should perfect/get more experienced on normal patterns! You can always try an alpha pattern, but it’s much much much easier to do once you’re able to create normal patterns easily

If you are having difficulty reading normal patterns, I’d suggest one of Masha Knots’ video about how to read patterns! Segment knotting can really help you understand the pattern! Hope this helped :]
