Hi, bracelet makers, i made bracelets a while ago and then stopped for a while, and when i made them as i was hunched over looking at it, my back was hurting. im starting to make them again and i was wondering if anyone had any methods to stop this? Also how do i stop thread getting knotted when packing it away because it always gets knotted? Should i use bobbins or is it not worth it?

I put my bracelets on a clipboard, then I sit on a pillow or my bed and prop the clipboard on my knees. It’s pretty comfortable and my back would hurt a ton when I used to make bracelets on my desk. As for your thread, I highly recommend bobbins, not only does it make your string look more organized, but in most cases, it prevents them from tangling.

I had to have back surgery last year (because I had scoliosis not because of the bracelets lol) and bracelet making hurts my back too. I generally just try to find different positions to sit in. I could theoretically do them lying in bed, I might try that for my next one.
