hi friends! just wondering what everyone is calling this hobby when people ask about it! saying “making friendship bracelets” feels a bit childish as an adult lol and i sometimes call it macrame but I know it’s not really what it is. fiber art is the most professional sounding but idk if that is quite it either? lol

or u could say “knotted attire” cuz it’s a bracelet. or if it’s a wallhanging i just say tapestry.

@lucass_ Yeah, that could be a problem. But those are two terms I see a lot on Etsy for friendship bracelets, so @yuzuknots might could look on there for more ideas!

I just say macrame knotting. Because it’s similar and I do macrame too sometimes. But you can also say Threaded art/projects
