Hi! As someone who’s made a lot of bracelets before, I wanted to try something new. Dyeing my own tie-dye thread, I’ve been looking around for some affordable and efficient dyes. But there’s so many choices out there it’s hard to find one that stands out. Any experienced dyers who have some products I should try? (I’ve used food coloring and such before but I want something a little more professional) Thank you to anyone who replies! 💕

I’ve dyed some thread before. I just used regular tye dye. I think it was tulip brand. It worked great and is really vibrant. 😊

You can see it in pattern #26051. I made that bracelet with my dyed thread and posted the photo. 😁

I got a tie dye kit from the dollar store. Brand is (#)beyou (website is beyoucolor.com if you want to look up the product). It comes in a couple varieties, but I got the "mermaid" colour pack, as it has the primary mixing colours of cyan, yellow and magenta. I used it to make a "rainbow" thread, pictured in my photo of pattern #15944. Tulip and Rit brand dyes are available at most chain stores and work really well. |

Thank you so much @Disney12! I’ll definitely look into it! Possibly even pick it up next time I see it! ☺️💕

@Clrowi! Thank you so much! I haven’t heard of that brand before, but I’ve seen Rit dyes before, I’ll try a bottle when I see it! 🥰
