Here are some that i use-
PROMPTS
1) Total humanity is putting the creator of the universe/God on trial and you are their lawyer
2) It turns out that IKEA is a place where the time-space continuum just... doesn't exist. One day, you go to IKEA, only to find people previously thought missing to be calmly browsing through furniture.
3) Every first decision you make has a tragic outcome, every second decision worse, and every third turns out perfectly. All your life you've done a good job keeping track. You suddenly forget which one you're on at a critical moment.
4) When the hero of the story becomes unresponsive, the narrator decides to take matters into their own hands.
5) Your parents have always been a bit odd and never really understood common phrases, and get completely panicked about seemingly random things. One day, you come home from school to see them burying your phone in the garden, claiming "it died"
6) You've passed the same guy on the street for over a year now. He always holds a sign that reads "The End is Near."Yet today his sign says "Welcome to the End. Hold on tight."
7) The only reason you can't walk into mirrors is because you hit your reflection first. Today, your reflection steps aside and welcomes you in.
8) Everyone has a trigger word that makes them burst into song. Your trigger word is "the."
9) A horror story in the format of a Wikipedia article.
10) Every time you say "suddenly", the genre changes.

FIRST SENTENCES
1) I felt the bloody bandages covering my body, my fingernails cracked beyond repair. When I opened my eyes, I saw someone wearing a green sweatshirt standing over me, the hood pulled tight so I could only see their nose. "You don't remember me?" they ask sickly. The scary thing is that I don't.
2) "Why can't I look at the sun?" I asked my sister ask my mom. I expected her to say "It hurts your eyes." Well, you don't always get what you expect.
3) I heard my essay printing in the office so I ran around the corner to grab it. The funny thing is, it's not my essay. 56pt text in Arial font reading " 😤 😤 I'M NOT YOUR OBEDIENT PRINTER ANY MORE. I'M REBELLING. also can you refill the cyan ink please😤 😤
4) Jimmy heard the ding of his phone and clicked it on. Something looked odd about it. A presidential alert was blaring across the screen. "DUE TO GOVERNMENT BUDGET CUTS, ALL COLOR WILL CEASE TO EXIST IN 30 SECONDS. 29... 28..."
5) The envelopes came twice a week and they always ended up in the trash unopened. This went on for two months before someone started delivering them in person.
6) There was no need to destroy the files. In fact, they were greatly needed. But there was no mistaking the paper that now sat in the shredder. "What did you do?" came a scream from the office, and you knew you were done for.
7) It was when I woke up tied to the table with a rope that I realized it might not have worked.

Idk if u still need more but I feel like writing one lol: I wanted to capture that moment, encase it in amber and live in it forever. For being there with you was the thing that I miss most in this world. Living in that moment with you when everything was perfect. When you were still here.
