Not a poetic sentence but what I find is a good prompt idea:1. Someone (or something) doesn't want to be what they are meant to be. Write about what or who they want to be and how they get to that goal. 2. Write a horror. What you find scary, but crank it up to the mist fearful you can get it to. Experience different fears, and write about a situation that you would not want yourself to be in. Or if you prefer to write nonfiction 1. Describe a dream you once had 2. Who do you see yourself as in ten or twenty years? Write in the present, as if you are living that moment right now. |

The gnarled shadows of the trees seemed to be reaching for me, beckoning me towards the dangers of the woods, reaching into my soul and awakening the fears within me. (This was all I got off the top of my head but I’ll prob come up with some more) (oh and sorry I don’t know if my grammar is right 😂)

All of the feelings inside me seemed to be swirling and mixing themselves into a deadly remote bomb. One press of a button and they would explode, engulfing me in the anger and fear that I’d been trying to hold back for my entire life.

Some things are meant to be for a specific someone. It can reject it, hurt it, and do whatever else, but it will always come back. Because it's meant to be.

As I lay there engulfed in grief, I thought about it all. All of the stuff I’ve been through. I thought about how I’m just on a rock floating in space, and nothing matters. I zoomed out and looking down on this huge earth, I realized that my problems don’t matter. Millions of people have worse problems than me. I tried to hold on to that thought, but I always ended up zooming back in. Coming back to my tiny problems that seemed like everything to me. (Very random ik 😂)

It's great to meet a fellow writer on here! I'm not good at making writing prompts, but I know a few places that have helped me in the past. -"Deep Water Prompts" on Pinterest / tumblr has great spooky/fantasy prompts -"promptuarium.wordpress.com" has all kinds of prompts, including picture prompts!
