Hello Everyone! So my wonderful sister has a life mission to get everyone to turn against me and I of course have a terrible temper when it comes to her. Then I get in trouble and get hour long lectures about being a terrible sister. So if anyone has any advice on how to control my temper, I would love to hear it. Thanks!-Haylee ❤️ |

Maybe just walk away if you can before anything happens? I get really mad sometimes and I have to just quickly go to my room before I say anything mean 😂

I swollow it, breathe to 5, paste a smile on my face and move on with life. honestly you just need to think of you life without them. i mean it might be great and all but without my brother I actually wouldnt be who I am today

This works well for me. My siblings really hate emo, punk, and metal, but I love them, and they are pretty much all I listen to. So when they annoy me I just play my music really loud.

Laugh in her face. It works SO well. I did this with my sister when she said "awwww are you mad" and I just laughed and laughed in her face and she stopped real quick, but I didn't even stop there, I took out my phone and for her to do it again to get it on recording, while texting my friends about it while laughing, she ended up getting embarrassed and closed the door in my face, at that point I just leave her alone. Otherwise just avoid her.

Would also work if someone is bullying you that is all talk. If you think that the bully or your sister will injure you for doing that, then don't.

Thanks for the advice! @Elwen I am grounded so I can't listen to music right now and my sister would tell on my and then I would be right back to square one....but thanks for the advice! @Ciao So normal siblings try not to involve parents when it comes to things like this but not my sister....she tells on me for EVERYTHING! So yeah I laugh at her and then she cries and I get in trouble. Then if I avoid her she tells on me for that and then I get the whole "well maybe she would be nicer to you if you had anything to do with her" So yeah....thanks for the advice though! |

my brother actually used to do this to me. and my friend says it works really well. love them back. like obnoxiously. they do something annoying and you could be like “awwwww i wuv u too. wanna a hug.” and then like go towards then and be like imma give you a hug. cMeRe

Walk. Away. Siblings have this insane want to get their siblings in trouble, my brother even admitted to it on camera. Sadly no one believes me cause I do editing, but anyway. Get it on camera of her being the annoying one and show it to your parents. Video proof is the best proof. Another thing is just keeping quiet. The less you say, the less trouble you will get it. If you see her walk away. For temper management I suggest holding something to squeeze, and always have a hair tie on your wrist, you can mess with the hair tie or squeeze something. Running is also a great way to let out temper.

I know it can be hard, but try not to react at all. When you lash out at them it only gives them satisfaction in getting you in trouble. So take that away and do absolutely nothing! It can be a new satisfaction for yourself to not get in trouble and take your sister by surprise!

honestly i just give them nothing. i just laugh and make them look ridiculous. It takes everything inside of me to not engage, but when I just laugh at them and roll my eyes they stop.On another note my brother will say things out of the blue purposely trying to make me mad, and it works, but hey i just ignore him 100% even if he repeats it 5 times.It makes him mad Especially if I glance at him and raise my eyebrows and go back to what I was doing,ignoring him, as to say "your being stupid right now" 😂 |
