Okay so I’ve known this guy for YEARS. (Since 5th grade) and I’ve suspected for awhile now that he has a crush on me. Almost a month ago I went to an all nighter, and our mutual friend had invited him. Me and this guy talked for the whole night, and it turns out that we have a lot in common. Our relationship was solely platonic before that night, but it’s hard to talk to someone that long without catching feelings. My friends have been teasing me about it ever since, because now they think we should date. And I’ve been kicking myself for not getting his number. Should I try to get his number from that mutual friend? Or should I wait until I see him next? (Which might not be for months) please help!😣

tbh, i think you’re thinking to hard about this. it doesn’t really matter when you get his number, if you’re tryin to go for like a certain tactic. i’d say get the number from a mutual friend. if you’re tryin to single him out by asking him personally for his number, as a dude i can tell you, he won’t notice.
