I was looking into some of these seed beads and it looks like something I want to try, could someone explain how to use them and if you can use them reading normal patterns?

You won’t be able to use seed beads with normal patterns, only alpha patterns.

I think embroidery floss is going to be too thick so I’d recommend a thinner string.
