Actually I have a couple questions!

So first off, so with non bianary, would you identify as gay or straight even tho you aren’t a specific gender?

And second: what does it mean to be asexual? Like I do get it, but I mean what does it feel like?

Btw this is not supposed to be offensive to anyone, but I just legitimately want to know. ❤️

To answer the second one

For me the idea of having s*x with anyone, even a spouse, creeps me out. I have no desire to do it and it might be strong enough I won’t even do it for kids.
I also don’t like kissing on the lips, but might be able to put up with it once in awhile for a spouse.

Really good questions and thank you for asking them respectfully!

Important to note that gender is an individual identifier of who *you* are and that sexuality is who you are attracted *to*. Often conflated, there are actually two different things, but people lump them together for the necessity of trying to fit nice neat little labels on people.. It is all very very messy and there's still no real solid definitions that are universally accepted.

Most of the non binary people I know identify as either bisexual or pansexual. The person I know who is dating a non binary person also identifies as pansexual (they were heterosexual previous to their partner's transition).

Asexuality is like all other sexuality in that it's on a spectrum as well. The core defining criteria is that they do not experience (or experience extremely limited or specific) sexual attraction.

Sorry, you wanted a specific example of what it would feel like to be asexual. The best example I've heard is having no spark to light a fire. Everyone around you is "Ohh.. I wanna make a fire with *that* person" and you're feeling more along the lines of "but... It's just fire. What's the big deal?" It's just not on your radar.

Asexual here trying to answer your second question 😃 there are more types of asexuality, I am s*x-repulsed and I can talk only for other people like me (for s*x-positive and for s*x-indifferent asexuals it's different) 🙂 warning: it's going to be disgusting! Think about having that thing with your brother, it sounds disgusting, doesn't it? That's how I feel about having it with anyone lol
