Honestly, I would say find a nice flat ground to ride on at first so you can get used to the movements. I actually started on carpet before going outside so I could get used to being on skates. The biggest tip is just to be prepared to fall. It’s inevitable, even when you get good at it, so just be prepared for it. Always lean forward if you feel like you’re going to fall, it’s better than falling backwards trust me. Also, you’re better of falling then trying to fight it, you’re less likely to get hurt that way. Finally, just have fun and take it easy. Once you learn the basics, you could try learning some tricks or something. Just don’t rush the fundamentals because it will stop you from learning more advanced things in terms of skating.
