Bracelets for Guys?

I want to make bracelets for some guys but I have absolutely no clue what patterns to do, since I have a habit of making my bracelets very girly. If I could get any of the guys opinions, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you so much!🙂

I'm not a guy, but I made my dad a square knot bracelet for Christmas and he loved it. Paracord bracelets are also good (they are square knot too); I see lots of guys and girls in my school wearing them. I even made one for myself 🙂

In the tutorial section, there is a tutorial on the square knot thing. It might be labeled as a buckle for a bracelet, but I just made a full lenghth bracelet instead. 🙂

I don't think though that it called a square knot. Not what I'm thinking of. What I'm thinking of is the bracelet buckle 2 tutorial. I posted a picture of it under pattern #8454. Sorry for the confusion XD hope I helped. 🙂

Well, I think you should just try making bracelets with 'manly' colours 😉 like brown, black, grey, dark green and dark blue. Those are all dark colours, so you better also use orange or white or light green, just experiment and try to mix some colours together, I'm sure you'll find a nice colour combination that doesn't look 'girly'. My suggestions for patterns are (normal patterns in order of how many strings): #2012, #4830, #1674, #8194, #6462, #2109, #109, #8027, #1908, #3239, #1028, #2357, #3238, #3165, #155, #3064, #3211, #4799, #1412 and #3672. I can't really find nice alpha patterns for a guy, but if he's into lord of the rings (and you're good at tying, because it's a large pattern): #6322 I hope this helps 😄 |
