scrap string storage??

Right now I have all my scrap string in a few of the compartments of my floss container, but I want to know if there are any better ways to store them, can anyone help me with this?

I don't believe there is a specific way to store them, but I like to organize them by color and if they are too short to do anything with, I just throw them out. The one thing I wouldn't do is let them all get tangled together in a big ball because then it's a pain to get them apart again. I hope this helps!

Anything possibly long enough to be used for a small bracelet I group together and gently tie and tuck away with my skeins. Anything that’s shorter that could be used for like a couple knots I keep in a ziplock bag and if the collection gets too big I’ll use it in the stuffing of a crochet stuffie or something.

Hi!I keep them organised in small boxes, one with cold colours, one with warm ones 🙂 I make a loose knot with the strings of a same colours, and just store them until I have the motivation to knot a scrap ends bracelet. |
