backward/forward knots

So I was wondering. Do you make your backward knots with the other hand than the one you make your forwards? Like do you switch hands for each knot? Idek if that made sense tbh 😂 . I personally make my knots with the same hand for both of them and I've heard that's uncommon. Tell me how you do it im really curious' 🙈
