alpha base string recommendations??

Hey! I’m trying to find a type of yarn/embroidery floss that works well for the base string of alphas because I want to try a wall hang! If anyone has recommendations please let me know! (Preferably at Michael’s) Thanks <3

I use Lion’s brand yarn in the style 24/7. I split the string in half cause it’s kinda thicc. I’m not sure if it’s available at Michael’s cause I get it at Joanns.

I use the Woolike brand by Loops and Threads. It’s a pretty good size and it’s also pretty cheap with the amount it comes with. If you have any extra as well, you could probably use it in a normal bracelet because the thickness is pretty similar to embroidery floss. I use aunt Lydias, size 10 for keychains and wall hangings and size 3 for bracelets.
