Length of strings for Wall Hangings

Hi, I'm new to wall hanging alphas and was wondering if theres a basic length for the strings or if you just pull a whole bunch ty in advance!

Just see how many knots long it is and measure your base strings based on that. Like if you made a bracelet that was 40 knots long, and were making a wall-hanging that was 40 knots long (or somewhere around that), you could measure your base strings as long as that bracelet. Just measure how you normally measure your base strings. 😄 Hope this helps!
