hello! i like to write stories, and am currently working on one with a lesbian character (myrlin) and another with an enby character (lokie). i really don't want to accidentally offend anyone and i am wondering if anyone has any character suggestions or things to avoid ^.^ thank you for your help! i will not be explaining the stories online just for the purposes of plagiarism and privacy ❤️ have a great day -lucky |

make sure to put in some stereotypes about the sexuality you are writing about!as much as i know, queer readers like to read about stuff they can relate to, and maybe a few illustrations will look good too!! and best of luck <3 |

Try to avoid tropes by doing research. For example, one of the love interests dying or a tragic coming out process are all overused tropes that can be boring to read.

I have a character suggestion or 2!So I have an idea for a girl named Kayien Kay for short that wants to think that she’s straight but she slowly realizes that she’s a lesbian And then a trans boy who has a crush on Kay but she thinks they are just friends Lmk if this helps! |
