i love creative writing... scary short stories are my favorite to write. just wanted to see if anyone on here likes to write too and see what their favorite genres are!

I love creative writing! I’ve always loved to write as a kid and I was always (and still am) the person who writes five pages for a one page essay. But recently I’ve really been lacking in motivation and inspiration as I can’t shake the feeling that all my ideas aren’t good enough. It’s always been my dream to be a published author but honestly I can’t really see that happening anymore because I just can’t seem to sit down and write without doubt. When I actually do get around to writing I love writing ya or light fantasy, I mostly write lgbtq+ characters.

@amwatson i always get the worst writers block. i'll have it for MONTHS and there's this week window where i can actually write without doubting all of it and having ideas.
