I enjoyed the story 😊 The kid at the end was brave to talk to the professor like that. I am a shy person and it would be extremely hard for me to do that.

That was very interesting, but in my opinion I don't think either was right. God didn't create evil, he created Satan, then Satan made the downfall. Also, God is good, but he also gives us free-will. If he made life perfect, then of course everyone would love him (why wouldn't you love someone who makes your life perfect) but God wants people who are loyal to him throughout everything. He wants his people to turn to him. The reason he doesn't stop all bad things from happening is because the sin of the world. And a human is still evil, even thought they might do good deeds, because they have sin, because your actions do not get you to heaven. But I have to be honest, this was very interesting to read! Did you write this or find it?

@Love_Fox I agree with you but I don’t believe that evil comes directly from Lucifer however I do believe that temptation comes from him evil is not inspired in people but temptation is, no one is making someone choose to do this or that and to blame it on an entity completely outside of our awareness is just lack of self awareness and blaming someone else for you’re actions

@Xxpuffish @Love_FoxNot saying you both are wrong or incorrect in anyway... just wanted to share my thoughts Evil is in many forms. We have trials to test us, and help us grow. If we choose to give into temptation, that's not really considered "evil" it's just a mistake and what not... The word evil is kinda extreme for people who just make a wrong choice. We get tempted, and some of us ignore it, or fall for it and we have the gift of agency (the ability to choose) and we exercise that every day. We are control of our own minds, bodies etc. so we have to take responsibility for our choices. Now. as always there will be people along the way who think you should do this, or that, and it might not be in your best interest, but again. you make the choices and you reap the consequences. |

Also. I don't really think this story happened in the real word. More of a story to get a "lesson" across, however I didn't post this with religion in mind, just thought it was a cool story about how a kid completely shut down the professor. 😂 😂

I just want to mention that satan was good at one point, it even says it in the Bible I believe, and then he wanted power and God sent him to hell because he was sinful, however, we are all born with free will, so we all sin at some point.

Ok i am catholic and i don't find this one bit offensive, i find it intruiging if anything. Yes i am a catholic, yes i believe in God, but i also believe in the more scientific matters. When the "science teacher" says that God created satan. he is referring to the fact that God created the angel that became satan. All the angels had a choice to either love God, or not to love him and satan wanted God's power so he turned away from him and took some angels with him.that is the story i heard and remember: not all of the bible is literal, some of it is just a story to tell an even bigger story |

I'm Catholic but religion is truly blind faith. I'm going to tell a story, I used to kinda consider myself an atheist. After watching a really depressing movie (The boy in the striped pajamas) I prayed to god asking him why he brought so much evil into the world. The next morning I got a fever and was sick. That night I prayed again apologizing to God. The next morning I was fine, It was probably a coincidence but you never know. I still trust science more than god and like having proof but now I'm a little more loyal to religion.

my mind is still trying to figure out everything that student said but as a fellow Christian I love this story! I have doubts all the time because I just naturally question things, and this is one of the best ways I've ever read faith explained!! thanks!

This story is very interesting. I liked reading it. The great thing is, no one does know anything for sure. The story highlighted, that well, both scientists and Christians rely on some sort faith.
