hi i want to start my etsy shop soon but i have a few questions...is it janky to ship my stuff in an envelope? it's cheaper so i could do free shipping, and it's better for the environment than bubble mailers or other means, but i don't want it to look cheap yk?? do i have to declare a legal corporation?? idk how to do taxes im just a bb out of these names, what do u like best? brilliant bijouterie nebular knots jurassic jewelry armilla empire im more partial to name 1/3 so that i don't limit myself to just bracelets/knotted stuff any other tips in general?? |

i use boxes or little gift bags and put the bracelet around a card. i like the jurassic jewelry and i would say calling what you do embroidery art or something ive been looking into some wall hangings which are beautiful so i would ship those in boxes but good luck

Maybe if you are worried that people won’t like their products coming in an envelope, you could include a picture of the shipping supplies so your customers know what to expect. As for taxes, I have no idea how that works. For you shop name, I like Nebular Knots but if your going to sell products other than friendship bracelets you could call it “Crafts by [your name]”. Alex’s Innovations made a YouTube video on how to start and Etsy shop and I’m sure you can lean a lot more in her video. Hope these tips help 😁

to me, envelopes are better for free shipping and it will attract others. you can always wrap the bracelets or what you are going to sell in tissue paper to make it prettier or write a small thank you note to add a personal touch. the exterior will probably be thrown out anyway

It doesn't have to be janky... but make sure they are nice and waterproof/water resistant... just make sure they won't be squished. I had an etsy for a bit and but them in organza bags and then put a card and note or whatever. They can look very professional, but you also don't want to break the bank with shipping materials.Idk about all that... i like the 2nd one. It's simple to spell, and it rolls off the tongue easily. A name 3-4 syllables long usually will be remembered more. |
