Hello!! I really want to watch horror movies and I want you guys to recommend me some good movies to watch apart from these: ~annabelle 1,2,3 ~conjuring 1,2,3 ~incidious 1,2,3,4 ~texas chainsaw The movies doesn't have to be necessarily horror. Any thriller or must watch good movies are also fine. Please don't tell me something from Google🙏🙏. I'm putting this out here because I trust people's experiences more than Google😅😅. The first Alien movie I’d say is a sci-fi thriller, that one is really good. This is a kids film, but Coraline is actually a great horror/thriller. These are short films, but on YouTube there’s a short called “Limbo:An Organized Mind” by Jim Henson of all people (it’s basically this guy taking you on a tour through his head but things go wrong), “Possibly in Michigan” is one of my favorite short films even though I wouldn’t call it horror. It’s pretty surreal and it reminds me of what my nightmares are like but in a fun way (it’s about 2 friends getting stalked one of the their cannibal ex boyfriends). On Vimeo there’s an animated short called “There’s a Man in the Woods” (it’s all in rhyme and it’s about this teacher whose life gets wrecked by a kid spreading rumors).

Oh I just remembered this one. It’s a live action/stop motion film based on Alice in Wonderland by the animator Jan Svankmeyer, it’s called Alice (or in Czech Neco z Alenky). Production design is really creepy, there’s not a lot of dialogue, but I think it does a good job conveying a sense of creeping dread. Someone uploaded it to YouTube with English subtitles, channel is Peer Gynt. If you look up “Alice Jan Svankmayer” and look at video results it’s one of the first results that comes up. It might also be on streaming but idk because I first saw it on a physical disk.

It’s really good, it’s about these ppl in a circle surrounded by darkness and only one person gets to live. It is just people falling off and dying for like 2 hours but somehow it’s very interesting 😂

@eva-seria when I was a kid I would go to a summer camp. It wasn't really a camp but more of a miniature city where each morning you could get a "job" and earn "money". They also had a cinema and they showed Coraline there. At the end of the movie only two boys and me were there 😂 all the other kids had left because it was too scary for them. I would have definitely recommended this movie as well!Now to my movie recommendation: Midsommar! I'm usually not a horror movie fan but I saw it in the cinema as a sneak preview so I didn't know which movie I was going to watch. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is just so atmospheric and Florence Pugh acted really well in it. |
