like my friend had some 80s and it lowered his gpa to 3.8, i have a 3.95 but since his weighted is higher (4.75) and mine (4.72) he's ranked higher. what boosted him was dual credit. also take summer classes, dual credit. it will free up space in your schedule and will allow you to have more free time for clubs, or other classes you might want to take !

Oof well I am a Sophmore and still trying to figure some of this stuff out so yeah. But I have taken an AP class before. Honestly I struggled with high school in general once I got to the actual High School. (Where I live Freshman is still in Junior High/Middle School) Mostly because I had a hard time adjusting to the A/B schedule type thing because I had all 7 classes in one day my Freshman year and only half my classes everyday and they switch for Sophmore and I am a HUGE procrastinator so it is hard for me. 🙈 Anyways I would just say make sure to get your assignments done before the due date. My moth teacher always tells us if it is Important, it is important right now so get your stuff done 😂 I can't really tell all the details about the AP classes because mine was interrupted with Covid so it was definitely different than normal. But I would just say to make sure to prioritize your classes because AP is a lot of work so you tend to run out of time to work on other classes and if you have friends that took the same AP class...it makes it so much easier if you have some people to go over the content with!

High school definitely isn’t as bad as people say it is in my opinion. To have good relationships with teachers just be good in class and follow rules. Join clubs or activities like I’m in marching band and have made friends that way. Don’t be afraid to be you because anyone who judges you doesn’t deserve your attention. As for APs don’t go overboard and take a schedule full of them only take a couple at a time your junior and senior years. Have a couple of close friends by your side that will stick with you and stay loyal to them.

When you get homework in class, write it down IMEDIATELY so you don't forget.... *speaking from personal experience*
