ok crocheting is my favorite hobby so i might be able to help! find a comfortable way to hold your hook and the yarn and if youre left handed then look up a special tutorial and keep your yarn not too loose or too tight

i usually use written patterns but i would just search “crochet bee tutuorial” and pick one that is your pace and that you like!

For the color switch- i would make sure you have it on the side you want before so that all the danglies are on the inside! I have made 3 bees!

I love to crochet, probably won’t be much help but I’ll try.... so like @greysen95 said find a way to hold your hook and yarn. You need to get a good tension so your projects aren’t too lose or tight. I personally hold my hook like a knife and I wrap my yarn around my pinky, I used to wrap it around my pointer finger, but found it put strain on it and just was uncomfortable. I see that you also want to make a bee, I would wait until you can at least make the single crochet stitch comfortably, maybe start out with a washcloth, so you can actually make something, but also get some simple practice in. My favorite YouTube channel for crochet is probably Bella Coco, she make videos for both left and right hand crocheters (is that a word?....) I find her videos are also very detailed and well made. Just remember like anything it takes time to learn but I have faith in you! Good luck!
