I suggest doing something where you can practice more basic stitches first like flowers, leaves and letters. There are many good tutorials with sample patterns online 🙂 good luck ❤️

I would say cross stitch is a good thing to start with! They have a ton of cute free patterns on dmc.com

On the DMC page there are many free patterns, you can get inspiration from pinterest or make one yourself. For my embroidery I am inspired by the plants, you can select many images of these and have a sample book. I recommend that it be an embroidery that contains the basic points since you have to go step by step
