Sometimes I really want to make a bracelet or keychain or whatever but Im scared to do it bc what if it doesn't turn out the way I wanted it to. And if it doesn't turn out the way I wanted it to I will be sad because I probably used dmc or anchor threads on it and I don't want to waste my good thread! So I just don't do a lot of the time or I have to build up the courage to do it. I know that this is rooted in anxiety and I've been working on that but I just have a really bad habit of doing this and I didn't know if anyone knows what I mean or also does this.

Haha that’s me a lot When I’m not confident I use scrap thread as much as possible, especially when it’s smaller pieces like keychains. And since crochet thread is a lot cheaper where I live, I always use those for base strings so it feels less sinful when I screw up. Although, I have to say that after making enough bracelets, I realise that most of it is just me overthinking. Most of them don’t make me feel too bad about myself (set aside 1 or 2 fails) but eh, it’s part of the learning curve and if we don’t ever try, we ain’t gonna get better ❤️ Lastly, I just want to say that if you need someone to talk to, I’m here, you can PM me anytime 🙂 |

Omg this is exactly me!!! I just got multi color doc and I’m afraid to use it!!! I don’t want to mess up (I’ve messed up a lot of bracelets lately and wasted thread...)
