If your worried about beads or charms rusting put a coat of clear nail polish on them, it will stop them from rusting or tarnishing.

I used to sleep with like 6 on, and then I just kept those ones on all the time for around a year, but now I tie them loose enough that I can pull them off and change them every day. So no, I don’t sleep in them anymore.
