I normally sit in a chair in front of my desk and set the bottom of my clipboard on my legs and lean it against the edge of my desk. That way it is angled and I don't have to lean over the bracelet to work on it.

@sugarknots I know I am a month late but I found that if you sit on your bed with a bunch of pillows behind you and you draw your knees up, and put your clipboard on your knees. It helps. Because you are not looking down. Your head is almost straight ahead and you can work on your posture! I hope this helps!!

Sorry I'm replying late but I lay against my sofa or a stack of pillows and then use a clipboard bend my knees to the position where it's comfortable to knot! I found this method effective coz I don't get back pains from this method I do get neck pains very rarely from this hope this helped!😊

I usually sit in my bed with pillows behind me. I also have one of those large back pillows that help. Sometimes my shoulders stiffen and usually it’s because I’m trying to finish my bracelet quickly and in a rush. That’s usually when I stop and stretch and do something else.

I have two tips I use because I don't like getting up in the middle of a bracelet because then I loose motivation to finish it.IF you want to sit comfortably like on a couch at any angle-- get a carboard box(any size but large enough to fit on your lap and be elevated to prevent straining your neck), poke a hole or two for the ends of your bracelet and push them thru. You can tie or tape down the ends, relax and continue knotting comfortably. Adjust the box as needed. (you can poke more holes if you wanna multitask) Option two is if you like sitting with your knees kinda close to your chest you can get a safety pin and pink it to your pants, blanket, or whatever just don't poke yourself. I've seen others who use a clipboard on their lap as well. |

I suggest making bracelets on a table/desk and making sure you are sitting with good posture

you have to break your back. that is the curse of making these. sacrifices must happen to get results. no pain no gain
