This is weird but when I was in middle school I read the Outsiders book. That changed me, it showed me not to judge people. And me of all people, I get judged a lot, mostly because of my heart condition. It made me learn that when I see a disabled person I shouldn't judge them, it's not there fault. Not to mention I'm technically disabled myself. Life would be so much better if people didn't judge, earrings and tattoos doesn't matter, it's there heart. Maybe your lesbian, or gay, and people judge you that your doing the wrong thing. But do they even know what your dealing with? It's your own decision why do people have to bug you about it? Or maybe people judge you for your race, everyone's the same, everyone makes mistakes. Some people have depression, I know about depression sense my two brothers both have depression. If you see people cutting themselves you shouldn't judge them. You don't even know what there going through, if you say something mean that person might even think about killing themselves. If people didn't judge so much, lives would be saved, and people would be happier. Please tell everyone about this.

I am so glad you wrote this. I have depression. I get so nervous when I tell people I have it because I feel like they will judge me for it. Yet there are some popular girls who tell me " I get it. I understand." When they really don't. I feel sad when a girl like that says that to me because they have it way better because, well they are popular. I have people in my life who are gay, too and I don't even want to talk about how badly they get treated by some people. Spread the love people. Don't judge a person just for these types of things, because who knows? You might be the one that pushes them off the edge.

Wow, great post!! I hated that book (mostly because we had to read the entire thing aloud and my class was nuts, so it took like a month) but you make good points. My school tends to be very judgmental, the principals and higher powers especially. Wish I could get them all to read this. Sorry not sorry I don't fit into their narrow little box.

I always get judged for what i look like what I wear every thing even the teachers judge me they make fun of me in front of the class and I wish I didn't have to go to school I wonder what they would do if I killed myself and they found out it was there fault
