Question about cross stitch

I have a pattern I want to do but it is horizontal so I can’t put it in a hoop to stitch it. What do I do? Do I not do anything and just stitch? Also any tips in general I’m a beginner 🙂thank you so much!!!! 💕

U could potentially put the hoop on and once u reach the end readjust it ?
