problems with creating patterns

Does anyone else have a problem creating patterns, I do,. I've done what people said, and the sensible thing, gone to the website, logged in ,tapped add/edit, and tapped on alpha pattern, the screen just turns white, but not completely, the tool bar is still there and other stuff too |
