GpailKids Bracelet King	12 years, 2 months ago by GpailKids 2 Days ago I recieved a message from a user who accused me of stealing a pattern from another bracelet website! They were rude and mean and had no idea what the hell they were talking about. They gave me a link to the other websites forum page and I checked it out and its 21 pages of those members talking sh*t on us! I don't know about you guys but this has me very ticked off! I had never even heard of or visited that other website before. I do not steal patterns and I feel as though I need to let everyone here know that!

GpailKids Bracelet King	12 years, 1 month ago by GpailKids I would add the name of the website but everytime I try the forum won't let me. It says it spam or something. But the website has friendship bracelts in the name and its a dot net, not a dot com address.

But yes this websites memebers are mostly jerks that that think everyones steals their patterns, like they are the only people on the internet capable of an original thought. I can PM you the link to that websites "stolen pattern" forum if anyone wants it. I can't post it here, I guess its spam as well.

She kept apologizing, she said she would fix the problem and it wouldn’t happen again, she admitted that they were in the wrong and she was very mature and respectful about it. But no one would accept her apology! They just wanted to be mad and to have something or someone to bitch about, and they seemed to focus that energy at Adik for some reason. I read close to 15 pages of that forum and not one person said “Thanks Adik, thanks for acknowledging us and fixing the issue” If anything they got more irate! They practically stalked Adik, they tracked her down on FaceBook and on Etsy and then posted her personal information on that forum. They kept accusing her a stealing pictures of bracelets and posting them on FaceBook! It was ridiculous! Everyone that knows Adik knows she doesn't need to steal pictures of bracelets, she can make every bracelet pattern on this website!! The members of F-B. net seem to be a little older than the members here (they seem to be 18 to 30+) for the most part and they act like a bunch middle schoolers! (no offense to our middle school age members) But they totally were not acting their age, they were very immature. I know the forum is from a year ago and it seems like something that’s in the past but it must not be, members of that website still come here for the sole purpose of causeing trouble for our members. I would still not have know about that other website if it wasn't for the jerk that messaged me. They need to get over themselves! We are just as good as their website, we are creative and have our own ideas! We don’t need to steal anyone’s bracelet patterns! Be proud gals and guys! Because we kick ass all on our own!
GpailKids Bracelet King	12 years, 1 month ago by GpailKids Ok guys, now I'm really pissed off! I was just on FaceBook to look up Braceletbook.com's FB page to subscribe to it and guess what I found? A FB group entitled “Shut down Braceletbook.com”! This sh*t is getting so old! A couple people a freakin' year ago stole a couple patterns from that website and now all of us are thieves and they feel our website should be shut down! I think its time we stood up for ourselves and started out FB group and call it “Friendship Bracelets needs to get over it” or “Braceletbook.com are not thieves and shouldn't be shut down”. Something along those lines, I'm too mad to come up with a cool name right now. But then I think we all need to join it, because their page only had 14 members and I know we can beat that!

I'm not trying to be rude or tring to pick a fight and all, but I'm just saying... not all people there are like that. they just think it's right to have some credit, that's all. it's actually not that big of a deal. i also got a message from someone on friendship bracelets dot net, and this person swore practically every other word. i'm serious. but it doesn't matter anymore, so why don't we all let it go? I would actually like to see that forum post, though. please? ???

GpailKids Bracelet King	12 years, 1 month ago by GpailKids Yes I admit that I have been making some generalizations about FB net's members, I do realize not all of their members are rude jerks. For example Ducttape10 you are obviously not one of the people I have been referring to. You seem to be a reasonable and level headed person. You are a legitimate member of both sites and because of that you obviously know some people from FB that are nice people. I apologize if I've offended any FB's members that have nothing to do with any of this “Stolen Pattern” stuff. In my defense I was dragged into this situation against my will. I had no idea these friendship bracelet websites even existed, I was trying to find a knitted bracelet pattern I saw on etsy and I found this website. I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread! I'm old school and started making bracelets 19 years ago so it was safe to say I had a lot patterns I could contribute here. Twelve days after joining this site I got a mean, rude and threatening message from a FB member. He/She said “You need to stop stealing patterns from FB or I'm going to do something about it”. He/She said several more rude things about me and this website and then gave me the link to the “Stolen Patterns” forum. I was very upset and offended. I had never even been to FB before. The pattern I added was one I had been making for 15 years! I didn’t go looking for a fight one found me. I created this Forum right after this happened because I was upset and wanted to vent. I wanted people to know that I don’t steal patterns and if any other FB members come here looking for a fight to not start one with me. I felt and still do feel like I have a right to defend myself. For the most part yes this issue is over, I only post on this forum when someone else does. Now today was a different story, seeing that page on FaceBook just got me mad all over again. They generalize us, they tried to shut this website down because they claim we are all thieves. Last week alone there was a problem with 2 FB members causing trouble with our members. Its really hard to be the bigger person and drop something and move on when its thrown back in your face every other day. Like I said I'm sorry if I offended you, but I feel I have the right to defend myself and speak my mind.
Adik Bracelet King	12 years, 1 month ago by Adik Ive never seen the facebook page, ill go and look in the morning 🙂 anyway i wanted to say that there are some really mature and nice users on fb dot net 🙂 even moderators or admins or however they call them selves.. Not all of them of course but some of them are really good people and write nice emails to me if they find a stolen pattern. Sometimes new users dont know about the copyright and post patterns from there but i allways delete those, so it makes me really upset that they are calling us thiefs 🙁 As you can see in the fb net forum ive let it go a long time ago 🙂 i only write all the stuff so our users dont think were theifs too. Also i think we should resolve the problem somehow because its really upsetting some of our users when people from fb net write very rude messages to us. Ill email the fb admins tomorrow and talk to them about this issue 🙂 ill ask them to warn their users not to be rude to us because we are trying hard to delete all stolen patterns. I hope we can resolve the issue 🙂 maybe if they had a new forum post saying that we delete stolen patterns and ask their users to be nice they would stop coming here just for upsetting us. We need to think of a way how to resolve this because weve had too many fb users sending us mean messages.

I think that people should be able to add patterns from both sites to opposite site only if they ask the person who made it first and the post a comment on who actually design it......

Jeez, if someone steals their patterns then it means that they liked it so much that they wanted it on another website. I like both sites. They both have some awesome patterns.
