I live on the west coast of USA and I start school august 16. Since I go to a private school we get out a lot earlier than the public schools in my area even though we start at around the same time.

In The Netherlands it depends on where you live, but I start on September 2st and in Belgium the vacation is almost always from July 1st till September 1st😄
