We raised three kittens and I absolutely fell in love with 2 of them but I liked the black and white one the most. His name was Gump. But all of my sisters wanted to keep my second favorite, the all grey one, Kitty. And so we kept Kitty and gave away Gump. I’ve been crying for an hour and a half and I miss him so much. What do I do? I can’t stop thinking about him.

It's always difficult having to give away a pet 🙁 it hurts less after a while, though. Try making friends with Kitty, the one you did keep, and keep in mind that Gump probably went to a good family and they'll treat him right. I'm sorry they didn't let you keep him.

when i was 3 (don't ask how I still remember) I LOVED these twin lambs and one day my dad told me "say goodbye to them they are going to a new home" and I was totally confused and the next day I went back to the barn and I couldn't find them and I screamed and scared the sheep and my dad told me that bottle feeding 2 lambs was too much work so we had to give them away but I understand that much better now because Its a lot of work and they will literally attack you in the future because they think you have food for them. and last year I got super lazy and I knew my rabbits had enough food o I diden't give them more but my dad though they would starve so he yelled at me and said that he would give them away so I said if he did i would run away (i would never) and that basically solved the problem lol but when I have to deal with the loss of a animal i make a bracelet and that makes me feel better or i just spend more time with the animals I have

*went downstairs in my basement just to use the litter box, but then we started looking for a therapy cat for my sister, and we got one, and then mister (the name of my black cat) would never come upstairs anymore. 😢😢 We got 2 more cats a few years later. I feel like we completely forgot about him, I know we gave him water and food, but we just forgot about him, i don’t even know if they took him to the vet 😢 a few years ago he started getting sick and my mom didn’t even take him to the vet, but then when he started getting really sick, they had to decide whether they would put him down or not, and they did, and I came home from school and my parents told me that he died 😭😭😭😭😭

I’m sorry about your cat, maybe talk to it with your family members, it’s always hard to lose a pet, and just watch some movies and eat food maybe lol 😂

This reminds me of when I had to give away my cat.She had been with me since I was 9 and always cared for me. Unfortunately, after a mountain biking accident left me numb on my right side, I had to give her away as I could not handle the rehabilitation and the cat. |

i had a cat called pange until i was five, she was put down ;( i couldn’t stop crying so they put me in counselling at school. now whenever something weird happens at home i blame it on panges spirit 🙂

You can try and stay in touch with the family or make a bracelet or something to remember him, my dog died and I was so heartbroken when we put him down we did it on my lap, now to honor his memory I made a bracelet and got 2 new puppies but not to replace him obviously, if I were u I would love and care for ur cat but remember the other one and know ur not replacing him.
