So currently I'm 11, I'm 5'5 and very tall for my age ( I was also 5'5 when I was 10) I'm curvy, and I was an early bloomer...sucks.. Uuughh. So when I'm older, I know it will be hard to find shoes cuz I'll probably be over 6' and there was this buzzfeed video I saw that was called: things all curvy girls understand. I watch like almost all buzzfeed videos...so yeah. I understand some of them, and I'm pretty sure when I'm older I'll have to deal with some of that stuff. Also, the boy I liked this year, surely enough, I was taller than him lol. But one things very true: I am the master of hugs. Good thing I barely have boobs lol. ( don't want faces in my boobies!) also: please no hate replies.

aaaahhhhh yes... A phenomenon a am VERY familiar with. By the end of grade 8 I was 5'10", so needless to say I was also taller than anyone in my grade for many years. Good news was though many thought I would hit six foot- I didn't. I grew about another half inch and that was it, making me the shortest person in my family. So just because you're tall now, doesn't mean you'll continue growing at the rate you are, but if you do it's not a huge deal. I've got friends that are girls who are six foot or taller, I'm not too far off of it myself.And side note: guys hit growth spurts in high school. By grade 10 they'll be just as tall or taller than you which effectively means no booby hugs haha! And the 'you're so tall, do you play basketball?' questions get old, so I started responding with 'Not really, but you're so short you must play mini putt, right?', people get a laugh but they also get the hint that the question is stupid and they don't ask again, especially the people who pester to try and get you to play... |

My dad thinks I'll be taller than him ( he's 5'10). I get the tall genes from the guys on my moms side of the family. I've actually never met any ( her dad died in 2001 🙁 so me and my sister couldn't meet him) and I think she has 2 brothers who I've never met, my sister has met 1 though. I don't know of any uncles really.

How old are you? Also, in my class there were probably 3 people under 5 ft ( Mexicans) and one of them moved. There were also a few shorties under 5 ft next door. One of them is 4'8 lol...

Lucky you're so tall! It seems to me like every generation of kids are getting shorter and shorter, like this girl one year younger than me has to be more than a foot shorter than me. I'm pretty sure. My sister who is 4 years younger than me is taller than that girl. I don't like that girl btw. :3 lol

I'm also an early bloomer. My chest got bigger starting off when I was 11, and now as I am 13 I am already wearing adult cup size bras. They really are uncomfortable, though. My friends had flat chests and they kept being jealous of my chest, but it's really uncomfortable to sleep on your stomach, walking down the stairs, not wearing a bra, etc etc.

I'm short for my age my friend who is 2 month tougher than me can look right down at me. I'm not saying I'm mini mini but she is quite tall. And she also gets the basketball question even though she hates sports.

@KawaiiArt i agree on the tall part i am 5' 8 3/4" tall and it is really hard for me to find shoes. Now i have to find cute shoes in the men's section. And my feet grow a lot so i have one pair of shoes i wear until they wear out
