So I was just wondering how to make straight edges, because I just can't stand the bumps. I'm sure there's a video for it, but I haven't found it, so if you could tell me where one is I'd really appreciate it.

Do you mean for Normal patterns?Here is a Masha Knots tutorial: HOW TO KEEP EDGES STRAIGHT || Friendship Bracelets https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkN7VX0gVfQ&t=1s One thing that I do is whenever the knots on the far left or the far right use the same color of strings, I change the farthest left knot to bf and the farthest right knot to fb. I've also made patterns that incorporate this already in the design. Like #61044 |
