So I really want to start an Etsy shop in 2021 just for fun, but I don’t know where to start. So does anyone have any advice for starting an Etsy shop? And I’ll be selling bracelets as you can guess lol, so how much should I make my products cost???

@ALYSSACHIL I wanted to start an Etsy shop to and I know that Etsy takes some money from your profit so it couldn’t be to cheap but also not so expensive that people wouldn’t buy it. So it might sound high but I would do anywhere from 10.00-15.00.

You can calculate a good and fair price by adding up the material cost and the minimal wage you would get for the time you worked on the bracelet.

I have an Etsy shop! I would agree with @halokiwi and also the only Etsy fees I've experienced so far is the $0.20 charge to add new listings. I would definitely say it's worth it so go for it!

@ALYSSACHIL So I learned I could make 4 arrowhead bracelets using the same colors so 6 skeins. the skeins cost like 16 cents per unit (from where i bought them). And so i just found the unit price of all my materials, doubled it, took shipping into account and 20 cents for the etsy fee, so i priced them about 10.50 and free shipping.Hope that helps |

I'm gonna be opening an esty shop for my birthday in June... I decided on $10 for a bracelets and I'll be making little alphas on swivel keychains for $11-12.

Hey! I don't sell on etsy yet (i'm hoping to in the near future) but I do sell bracelets on instagram (@elliesbraceletco is my handle). I have different costs depending on how thick the bracelet is. My pricing so far is:-8 strings-->$3 -10 strings--> $4 -16 strings--> $6 -22 strings-->$8 -24 strings-->$10 if it is a custom, I add two dollars to the charge, I haven't sold any alphas so idk what to do for those but I hope this helps! good luck with your shop! |

Don’t lower your price if people don’t buy. Start social media accounts to advertise and just be patient! Hope it works
